Over Due Update

Dear Fellow Readers,

I know I have been away for quite a while and I do apologize about that. Working & going to college full-time has been stressful, to say the least. I have been trying my best to still keep up with my magickal studies & with my creative artistic skills such as writing, singing, crafting, etc. I have, however, been busy starting a new hobby or two. But I'll get to that in a bit.

I can say that college isn't so bad once you graduate with an Associates' degree. Which I did in the Spring of 2018. Of course, I have had many things happen since then. I decided to change my major multiple times, went to different schools not knowing what I wanted to do, etc. Eventually, I figured it out. Now, I am on the track of completing my bachelor's degree & moving up the social ladder at work. At least I am finally going down the path I thought was right when it came to my job.

Along this busy path of college, I found happiness amongst the stress. In June 2020, I adopted a hedgehog while I was at one of the universities I fell in love with. Her name is Coco and I am in love with her. If spirit animals can be anything we choose, I think mine would be this spike and feisty ball of cuteness. Because of her, I found joy in something I never thought I would have before. In September 2020, I became a registered rescue location with the Hedgehog Welfare Society. So, I have been pretty busy this past year rescuing hedgehogs and finding them their furever homes. I have had much success with this and I'm super happy.

On top of rescuing these beautiful creatures, I have been in the process of opening my own business. I just pray to the Gods & Goddesses that it'll work. I can't tell you all the details about this just yet but I'll let you know when the patents are finalized.

I also had a loss in my little family. I, unfortunately, lost my beautiful baby girl, Hermionie "Miney". She wasn't doing very well and I had to ease her from her pain. I still haven't come to terms with it even though time has passed. I still come around the corner every day thinking she'll meow at me and purr super loudly.

With my baby girl's loss, I have felt a piece of me missing. The only thing I ask is for prayers. I know she is happily playing with her mother and our family dog, Bailey. RIP Miney. You will be forever missed.

Reminder

Just a friendly reminder, Figament is no longer working. Because of this, my published work has shifted to Wattpad. I will be updating the works on there every Friday night starting October 1st, 2021.

I am now really sad. I just found out my favorite website to publish my books and what makes matters worse is that I might not have ALL my works saved on my laptop. :'( I'm really hoping that I have everything on my laptop.

B.O.S. Continued

I feel like I have made some progress on my BOS (when I got a chance these past months) but trying to make your own book is way harder than it looks. So for right this second I'm using a binder, sheet protectors and some coloring pages I have found online till I feel comfortable with the layout of my grimoire. Then if I feel that it is perfect enough to place in the huge book I have bought off of Amazon (link below) I shall. I figured that was big enough as a BOS/grimoire. I'm definitely glad for any advice on what I should have in it. So far I have a section for candles, herbs, & Stones/crystals
